1st Contrast: 3, 4 / 50 gram balls
2nd Contrast: 3, 4 / 50 gram balls
3rd Contrast : 2 , 3 / 50 gram balls

Quantities of yarn are approximate as they are based on average requirements.
Pair each of 3 1/4 mm (UK10/USA3) and 4mm (UK8/USA6) needles.

Tension
22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm (4") (stocking stitch) on 4mm needles or size needed to achieve stated tension

5th row- K75 (103), sl1, K2tog, psso, Kto end (151 (207) sts).
6th row - p, Break 1st C.
7th and 8th rows - Join in 3rd C and K 2 rows.
9th row - P1, *yrn, p2tog, rep from * to end.
10th row - K, Break 3rd C.

Next row - Join in 2nd C, K102, sl1, K2tog, pSSO, K to end (205 sts).
Next row- P.
Next row- K101, sl1, K2tOg, psso, Kto end (203 sts).

Join in 3rd C and rep 7th to 10th rows once.

Change to 3 1/4mm needles and 3rd C,
Next row - K to 2 sts before centre st K2togbl, K1, K2tog, K to end.
Rep last row 5 times more (51 (59) sts).
Next row - K.
Cast off.

To Make Up
Press carefully following instructions on the ball band.
Join side seams.
Cut 20cm lengths of 1st C and 2nd C and knot groups of 4 (2 of each shade) of these lengths through outer edge to form fringe, positioning a knot every 3rd st.
