We charge postage at cost, this is calculated by the combined metric weight of the products and is charged in accordance with Royal Mail First Class Delivery Charges. If the charges are changed by Royal Mail (The United Kingdom mail service) then the changes will be reflected within the website as appropriate.  We do NOT charge for packaging.

If you are paying by cheque it must be drawn on a UK bank and made payable in pounds sterling to "STITCH1KNIT1". Please be sure to write your e-mail address and cheque guarantee card number on the reverse of the cheque. When paying by this method we will process your order as soon as we receive and clear your cheque, this will unfortunately slow down the dispatch time. STITCH1KNIT is a UK company and is required by law to collect Value Added Tax (VAT). This means that customers resident in the fiscal VAT territory of the European Community (EC) are generally subject to VAT at 17.5% on the price of items purchased. The prices shown on STITCH1KNIT1 are, where applicable, inclusive of VAT. A few items such as some publications are zero-rated.

If you are resident outside the fiscal VAT territory of the EC then you do not pay VAT. When you place an order the checkout process will check the country part of your address and deduct the VAT from the prices.
